School Glazing Report

The results of the assessment are available in both electronic and hard copy providing information on the location, reference, sizes, glass type, risk areas and risk assessment of each panel of glass in the building. We also suggest appropriate methods of upgrading the glass and outline the costs involved.

The Report can be used as a continuous record of the glazing in your building, to ensure that any subsequent reorganisation or glass replacement is noted and assessed. The information provided can also be used to address issues including health and safety, security, heat and glare, privacy and blast protection. The information can also be made available to another supplier carrying out any upgrading work associated with the Glazing Risk Assessment.

The fact that a Glazing Risk Assessment has been undertaken can mitigate an organisation from legal action in the event of an accident. This documentation can form part of a complete risk assessment for your organisation, including suggested remedial action required.
